Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Pinkerver ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our server management platform and website at pinkerver.com.
By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor, Stripe.
Server Information
When you connect a server to Pinkerver, we collect basic server metadata including the server's IP address, hostname, operating system version, and installed software versions. This information is necessary to provide the management functionality of the Service.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our website and application, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process transactions and manage your subscription.
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support communications.
- Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests.
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats.
- Validate software licenses and enforce plan limits.
3. Telemetry Data
Important: Telemetry data is collected to improve the Service and does not include personal data, website content, database contents, or any files on your server.
If you participate in the Beta Program or opt into telemetry, we collect anonymized telemetry data from your Pinkerver installation, including:
- Server statistics: CPU usage, memory usage, disk usage, and uptime (aggregated metrics only).
- Feature usage: Which features are used and how often, to prioritize development efforts.
- Error reports: Application errors and crash reports to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Configuration data: Number of domains, databases, and email accounts (counts only, not names or content).
Telemetry data is transmitted securely over HTTPS and is associated with your license key for validation purposes. You can view the telemetry data being sent from within the Pinkerver control panel.
Telemetry participation is required for Beta Program members and optional for all other users. You can disable telemetry at any time from the panel settings (this will end your Beta Program participation if applicable).
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plaintext.
The Pinkerver control panel runs directly on your server. Your server configurations, website files, and database contents remain on your server and are never transmitted to or stored on our infrastructure (except for the anonymized telemetry data described above).
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Stripe: Payment processing for subscription billing. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
- Email service providers: For transactional emails such as account verification, password resets, and subscription notifications.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your authenticated session.
- Remember your preferences and settings.
- Analyze site traffic and usage patterns.
- Protect against CSRF attacks.
You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for account recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted.
Telemetry data is retained in anonymized, aggregated form and may be kept indefinitely for statistical analysis and product improvement purposes.
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations.
- Data portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data.
- Opt-out: Opt out of telemetry data collection at any time.

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
10. Changes to This Policy
